Who are we?
Establishment of business with HIPOLIN in 1976: -
My native is from Gujrat, a small village Limdi (25km from Dahod). Have shifted to Indore in 1976 with aim to startbusiness. Have started with only 160Kg Hipolin Washing Powder (Hipolin Limited, Ahmedabad) & my first annualturnover in 1976 was Rs. 8768/- only.
In starting personally have done retailing on Bicycle and sold powder. Have done door to door retailing also to make the product popular & finally in 1981 created potential market of Hipolin Washing Powder with sales of 24Ton per month that is around Rs. 10Lacs. This sale was grown up to 180 Ton per month.
Second Step in Business in 1981: -
In 1981 started dealing in Matches which is been manufactured in South India. Ped Matches brand is been designed by me only. Have started with only 150 Bundles per month & at present the matches is so popular thatwe are selling up to 12000 Bundles per month which is around 29 Laces per month with tough competition in market & fights against 48 duplicates of Ped only.
Gujrat Operations
Since our forefathers belongs to Gujarat, we had good knowledge of area. Seeing our working culture, finance and reputation in Marico of past 24 years, Marico proposed us to start SD network in Gujarat from Mehsana town to cover entire North Gujarat in Oct’2020. Since started to till date, working on growth of 16%, and recently in Nov’22, Marico again proposed restructuring of area, and added 12 more towns, which is almost additional business of 55Lac and requested to shift our setup in Ahmedabad, with probability of more additional of business by April’23.
